Barbados Fuel Price Change June 2018

Effective midnight Sunday June 10 Barbadian consumers will be paying more money at the pump for gasoline and diesel. The retail price of gasoline will move from $3.40 BDS per litre to $3.60 an increase of 20 cents, or 5.9%. Diesel will move from $2.61 BDS per litre to $2.80 an increase of 19 cents, or 7.3% (Source: Barbados Today, Barbados GIS).

Interestingly, this fuel price hike is the third major hike announced within the last few days. The other two being price hikes in telecommunication (Digicel and Flow) and electricity services (Barbados Light & Power).
